MGL iEFIS flight information system
The iEFIS system comprises a number of modules that are interconnected to provide a very flexible system.

Displays
Up to 8 displays connected to the iEFIS LAN receive and display data broadcast from the iBOX
Each display can have 9 user defined screens, layout designed using the PC based iEFIS simulator software
3 display sizes- Challenger 10.4” XVGA, Explorer 8.5” WGA, Discovery 7” WGA

iBOX
The brains of the system, collecting and processing data from the peripherals and broadcasting to the displays
Single iBOX or dual (main/standby) iBOX configration
Normally sited behind the instrument panel

RDAC and associated engine senders
Up to 4 RDAC modules collecting engine related data (RPM, temps, pressures, fuel levels and flows)
Sited in the engine bay close to sensors to reduce wiring clutter

SP-6 and SP-7 modules
Up to 4 of each
SP-6 magnetometer provides compass data
SP-7 AHRS provides attitude data
Sited close to a/c roll/pitch centre and away from magnetic interference

Servos
Up to 3 servos (pitch, roll, yaw) may be connected to enable the autopilot function
Multiple autopilot sources and modes (S&L hold, 180 reversal, HDG/ALT bug, GOTO, route, GLS, GVOR)
Autopilot also drives flight director display to guide pilot input if servos not fitted

VHF radio and transponder
SL30/40 compatible radios may be connected and controlled from the EFIS
Selected transponders may be connected and controlled from the EFIS

There are far too many features and options to list here.
We recommend reading the documentation and discussing requirements with the dealer to confirm requirements

MGL iEFIS Lite flight information system
The iEFIS Lite is based on the iEFIS- same software and functionality- but with a simpler hardware configurations.
If you don't need all the extra inputs/outputs that the iBOX provides- just basic engine and flight information- then this is the system for you.
Fewer components to install, simpler wiring, lighter, cheaper....but just as good!

Displays
Up to 2 displays connected to the iEFIS CAN bus receive and display engine and flight data
Each display can have 9 user defined screens, layout designed using the PC based iEFIS simulator software
The display units include all the iBOX data processing functions, as well as the SP7 AHRS sensor- no separate modules required.
2 display sizes- Explorer Lite 8.5", Discovery Lite 7.0” WGA,

RDAC and associated engine senders
A choice of RDAC modules collecting engine related data (RPM, temps, pressures, fuel levels and flows)
